PEAK RUN PERFORMANCE COACHING

While we aim to make TranSelkirks accessible to as many racers as possible, it is a challenging event!

We recommend coming to the TranSelkirks Run with a solid base of training so you can make the most of your time with us. And that doesn’t just mean a better finishing time—the fitter you are, the more fun you will have. With focused training you can better manage the off trail, technical sections and grueling, sustained climbing that this race provides while simultaneously being able to enjoy the 360 degree views that surround you. Any runner can conquer fears and traverse terrain they didn’t know they could, but it requires specificity in your training and preparation.

We recommend looking into COACHING services to prepare you for the challenges that you will likely encounter during a multi-day trail running event held in the mountainous terrain of Revelstoke, British Columbia. However, not every coach is well versed in the specific training required for a multi-day race like TranSelkirks.

At TransRockies, we have partnered with the coaches at PEAK RUN PERFORMANCE since 2016 due to their specialization in preparing for and completing multi-day trail running events. Their coaches, Brittany Peterson, Manu Vilaseca and Carla Rodriguez Dimitrescu, are internationally certified, have personal experience with multi-day trail running events and have coached athletes from all over the world for events such as TranSelkirks. These coaches are very familiar with the TransRockies race courses, terrain, and conditions you’ll encounter at TranSelkirks and can help you prepare for the challenges ahead of you!
