MANDATORY CUTOFFS: For the safety of all race participants and volunteers, mandatory cut-offs will be implemented for each stage. Full & Half Stoke stages must be completed in 8 hours or less.
PREPARATION: We encourage all race participants to arrive well-prepared for the challenge ahead. Successful completion of the three-day event will demand fitness and experience on challenging, technical terrain. We recommend completing at least a trail marathon or 50K in the lead-up to the Full Stoke or Stoked Ultra™️ experiences. We recommend at least a trail marathon as part of your preparation for the Stoked Scramble™️. Sections of this course are unlike any you have likely experienced anywhere in North America. Scrambling is not optional. There will be exposure and steep cliffs. Please prepare mentally and physically for these challenges.
NIGHTLY MEETINGS: Nightly meetings are VERY IMPORTANT. Updated course maps and descriptions will be shared at these meetings in the Rockford Plaza at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
SPECTATORS / CREW / CREW ACCESSIBLE AID STATIONS: Spectators can watch the Start of stage one of the FULL STOKE, HALF STOKE, and STOKED ULTRA in the Rockford Plaza at Revelstoke Mountain Resort on Friday for the 3 Day events and Saturday for the Ultra. To access the FINISH of stage 1 or 2 or any of the trails at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, a waiver must be signed at packet pick up or at Guest Services. Crew and spectators must stay on RMR trails and are only permitted at Crew Accessible aid stations (at the top of the Gondola). Spectators can watch the start and finish of stage 3 at the Revelstoke Nordic Centre.
COACHING: If you would like additional help preparing for the TranSelkirks Run, we recommend working with the coaches at Peak Run Performance who are familiar with the terrain traversed at the TranSelkirks Run and the demands of stage and ultra trail running events.
